Unfortunately, lurkers aren’t impactful for viewership, and yeah, that sucks. But there are only 3 options:

1) bitch about it
2) actively petition and attempt to appeal to twitch on changing it including their ambassadors
3) try to make streams more engaging so more viewers chat/use redeems
