It’s still double the cheap bread and $2 buys 2 packages of pasta so if the choice is bread or bread plus 2 packs of pasta for a lot of families that means 2 meals and lunches or just lunches.

The cheap bread is up to $2+ now where we are, milk is about $4, heck a head of iceberg lettuce is $1.5. If you shop Costco you get cheaper per unit price but you have to be able to afford the membership and the upfront cost of the larger amount of product. It’s evil that people get paid so little.

Most Americans can’t afford those breads right now.

It’s all mostly made in factories. Homemade bread does still have sugar to feed the yeast. Once you start reading labels here it’s shocking how everything has sugar added even lunchmeats and savory spice blends!

They are easier to find at candy shops. I had to order online last time. Sucks when you want instant gratification

I have no idea I love it. I can read or people watch in peace. And I never have to share a bite of my food!

Butcher and blackbird was so good! I loved taming Serafina. I switch from the feel good ones through the full spectrum back to dark all the time.

I fucking love books! I read really fast so I do mostly digital now. I miss my physical books but I need a bigger place and that’s just not on the agenda right now. I read about 150 books last year which is down from my average. I beta read for fun for a couple people too!

Those are so good! Apple is my favorite but it’s so hard to find.
