So I plan to do a CC build soon, but I want to limit the number of creators to make it easier for people to download. For now, I want to use CC by Valia, Syb, attic, and awingedllama. I was thinking of adding another, maybe Pierisim? If you have a CC creator you really like, please let me know!

It's so fucking hard to find happiness under capitalism. Engaging in activities that bring you joy or ease your life often makes you complicit in something awful. There's no ethical consumption under capitalism, and it seems that now more than ever there's also no way to escape it. Everything sucks.

📣👀 Ok, I really want to build something that people can use in their everyday gameplay. What type of community lot is missing for you when you start a new save file? It can already be in the game, but you wish for a better version or something that's just not there.

Me neither! I would get so bored just creating family suburban houses over and over, haha. I will continue to make builds that I enjoy and follow where my creativity takes me, that's for sure.

I know! There's definitely an audience for it, but maybe it's more niche? Or maybe it just takes more time to reach the people who enjoy this type of content on a platform that's all about everybody doing the same thing, and an algorithm that favors trends.

Thank youuu! 💜 I do struggle with it in the sense that I want my channel to grow, but I also hope that with enough time, I'll have an audience that enjoys all kinds of builds, and that it will help with visibility. There are exceptions, of course, but it feels like you have to be lucky to get any other type of videos favored by the algorithm. It won't stop me from creating weird and unusual builds, because that's the type I love making the most, but it's a bit depressing.

The hard truth I learned as a Sims 4 builder on YT: in general, the algorithm doesn't seem to like (or the watchers?) builds that aren't huge mansions/very normal-looking houses. I can now almost always tell when a video is gonna do poorly beforehand. It seems that creativity is not rewarded at all.
