this school year was a ride. so much love for my sweet students and the team that became my second family. but also pain—one toxic colleague drained the joy out of many days. she’s gone now. peace is returning. a new chapter: form teacher for the first time next year🧡✨

today marks two years of teaching—and no, i still haven’t gotten used to hearing my last name yelled a hundred times a day. “no” is now a core part of my vocabulary, and i’ve perfected the teacher glare. it’s chaotic, exhausting, and hands down the best job in the world.👩🏼🏫✨

my students had their big exam today (which still needs to be marked this week😁) and one of them went home before the exam because he was feeling unwell. guess who i just saw on the train in very good spirits on his way to a birthday party with a cake and a present🤣🫠
