My husband had heart disease before Covid. He has gotten shots every year since they have been available, and you know what? He still has heart disease, but he didn't die from Covid. I call that a win.

I couldn't wait to retire so I could sleep late. Now, I still get up at 6:30 am and go for a morning walk. The difference? I choose to rather than have to. I recommend the morning walk thing; it's a great way to start the day!

I just finished "The Winter Garden" by Kristin Hannah. I got "The First Ladies" by Marie Benedict from the library yesterday but haven't started it yet.

It was so peaceful taking my walk this morning and then coming home , having my coffee and reading. It's my favorite morning routine.
