Shaggy is the swinginest gymnast in school.
We honestly passed the point of diminishing returns on graphics this generation. Pressing further is just spending more money for less gains, and I'm okay with just not doing that. Ever.

More people should read Prydain.

To be fair, he got the shot through nepotism but got the job by running possibly the best booked major promotion ever in the black and gold version of NXT.

He lasted less than a year running the main show before starting to stink up the place creatively.

It was a far right account that talked about how "absurd" the "libs of tiktok" are. Now they just dox people for existing as trans or opposing MAGA excesses and run smear campaigns against random teachers.

Revolution is a tool that should be left on the table when dealing with despots, but it is a last resort.

The vast majority of revolutions end with regular people in a worse state than they were in before it, either because they fail and embolden the autocrat while giving cover to his abuses, or because they succeed but the new regime is just as totalitarian or moreso but now it's a war zone too.

The Atlantic was once one of my favorite news sources. Then they hired multiple people to work full time lying to me about an issue I know, which meant I couldn't trust them on issues I don't know.

Look. I don't even think the first episode is very good. There's promising ideas, but the whole sequence from them arriving at the Academy through the inspiring speech is a mess. The first thing the vice commandant does is call a man of color "boy!"

But this is stupid.

France and India are both conducting criminal investigations, last I heard.

This week. This week. Epstein week? Slow news?

Wow. Fucking wow.

Yes. Lots of bad stuff does. I own Star Trek V on VHS; I know what it is to love a bad movie.

Me? I watched the first. It told me what I needed... that I have no need for The Further Adventures of CGI White Savior Cat.
December 22, 2025 at 7:13 PM
Yeah. It's too bad that the guy who made Terminator 2, Aliens, and Titanic has gotten so hung up on his CGI white savior cats.
December 22, 2025 at 1:31 PM
That isn't what the first movie said to a lot of people, though. It might have been what it was trying to say, but by centering the white dude from the capitalist empire, its point became "a white capitalist needs to come do everything better than the indigenous people and save them."

That's bad.

Writing also removes having people to bounce off of in real time.

Y'all.

This is WSJ opinion. This is NewsCorp. The Murdochs. From the same people who brought us Fox News.

If course it's shit.

I (I'm a care worker) very rarely use algebra formally in day to day life.

Algebraic principles - being able to get one number out of a couple of other related ones - are constantly helpful.

You definitely implied Democrats voted for RFK.
November 27, 2025 at 1:25 PM
Democrats are a loose coalition of the people the GOP wants to kill. The GOP is a cohesive political movement.

The system is barely functional, but the physical act of reading the dice is very resonant with the game. I love it and would never wish it on my friends.
