I agree with you. No consequences, no action from like minded democracies will open the door to more of the same and/ or an escalation. The bully must be challenged.

I'm aware the Democrats are winning seats & are likely to take back the house in November. I'm also aware Republicans currently control both houses.
Trump has stacked SCOTUS but why weren't the Dems more emboldened to nominate judges when they had the opportunity, instead of bowing to Rep will?

I don't pretend to have the answer however, with all due respect, apart from the impressive No Kings March and the relatively local community resistance, it really appears as though very little is being done. The Democrats appear to me to be weak and disorganized. Perhaps I need to be educated.

I think this one missed the mark on satire. Perhaps it's because it's no longer beyond plausible with the madman in charge.
