I’m gonna be running a new #TTRPG campaign! Just finished designing the campaign logo. Sapphic outlaws in a fantasy setting fighting against slavers. We’re playing Tales & Twists and have 1 slot open. Hopefully this will be the gayest thing I ever run! 😝

Finished my intro letter for a tnt #ttrpg campaign I am going to run. The premise is the players made a deal with a powerful fey entity, and she is fucking with them and using them as entertainment. The campaign starts with them deciding what to do about it. She’s totally based on a movie director!

There’s a bunch of stuff that does this and most of it has negative penalty associated with it. So if you’re just letting pc’s do what higher level pcs get access to and you’re not applying a negative and you’re letting the pc do it as an attack that deals damage? And the npc isn’t dying after?

#Ttrpg Love post #7: NEVER STOP BLOWING UP! It’s only 4 pages long, so easy to run & character creation takes 2 seconds. Best ttrpg I’ve ever ran for ppl who don’t know what ttrpgs are. My 60+yo mother had a blast playing along side my 13yo nephew. It’s strength is its aim at less rules & more fun.🔥

I did make a beat em up side scrolling ttrpg. It’s 4 pages long. No idea why I made it, but it was fun! Hopefully it will be on itch this weekend!

I commissioned this art for a different project, but totally her energy. 16 yrs old making terrible decisions. Nice person but has no social skills, & her mom’s motto “wasn’t don’t do crimes,” it was “don’t get caught.” Her critique at the rest of the party is “how are you all so well adjusted?!”

When I played #dnd in my home brewed setting, I was constantly pulling my hair out trying to squeeze in or create new races to accommodate player ideas. Now in TnT, our new lineage system lets players chase their fantasy ways I can’t even fathom with no extra work on me.

The post felt pretty mean spirited to me, dumping on a lot of ppl’s work. I responded with a decently mean spirited joke. At the end of the day you have to create because you want to, and just tune out the noise. Stay wonderful and don’t let it get to you ❤️

I wish I could take credit! I understand the always DM’ing. I run a ttrpg community where it’s the same thing. Recently I just wrote a ttrpg that aims to help tell stories and focus on being easy to run. We have a new generation gm’s coming up! I finally get to play!!! 😝😭🤩

Every time someone says 5e dnd is the bestselling ttrpg of all time, I just like to post this picture. Let’s not forget the hobby space for ttrpgs is microscopic compared to other hobby spaces. The game is incredibly hard to run. Tons of ppl don’t participate in our hobby. Is it bc we need more 5e?🙃

Every dm currently running DnD loves how ambiguous the 1200 pages of rules are. It’s a boon that the system requires DM’s to fix 1/5th of it with #homebrew rulings or asking Jeremy Crawford on Twitter how the game works. *Puts on clown nose* this is just how any #TTRPG works & why 5e dnd is so big!
