I have options and not crossing that border period. My partner is american and I lived there for 11 years but family and friends I will chat with online or by phone. I am sadly resigned that I will never see some ever again.

I had no plans to travel to the US for the winter and certainly not the world cup. I am boycotting FIFA completely including games with my own country due to the disgusting display the day the team play order was picked.

None of us know what others go through & even though I was never in your situation - I can certainly understand. At seven I encountered a pedophile I managed to escape somewhat unharmed physically but the mental damage lasted years. I am strong because of him. It happened - life goes on
