The Drag Queen of Science Fiction.

Published in Departure Mirror Quarterly and The Limerick in Chains. Shopping a great anthology if any of you publishers aren't scared of drag...
We are about halfway to our funding goal, thanks to all you lovelies out there who have donated. Those of you who haven't donated yet can still be one of the lovelies who did. All you have to do is donate.
Well, the SEKRIT PROJECT is no longer secret. I've been co-writing the book for a new musical, and it's getting a staged reading in February through Santa Clarita Shakespeare Festival.

If you'd like to donate to Santa Clarita Shakes to support the cause:

Now I want to write "The Pugilist in Puce: A Drag Boxing Day Story" but it takes months to get 10 rejections with the way most editors take their time.
I currently have a question mark in my schedule for what I'm going to publish on Dec. 26. If you've got a boxing day story that fits our guidelines, send it my way.

Now why didn't I think of that?
Today from Hell Itself, Nicholas De Marino brings us a weird science fiction tale about a luchadora, a ghost child, and the patriarchy. Where else would you find such a story?

I saw Margo Rita's Monster Ball at Six Flags Magic Mountain last night.

Truly a great show, with a great cast. I can't recommend it strongly enough.

Seriously, go see it!

It's on the Full Throttle stage back behind the front-entrance gift shops.

My collaborator, Whatshisname, has a new story out today.
I know I usually write for theatre, but I occasionally write short stories. My second short story to be published was published this morning. It is free to read: hellitself.com/the-tell-tal...

@deborahldavitt.com is in The Limerick in Chains with me. She's a marvelous poet and a marvelous short storyist, so y'all should be reading her work.

It does need more drag queens, but we can't have it all...
Hell Itself opened today and released a darkly beautiful story by @deborahldavitt.com, "Reaping Whirlwinds."

Look for our second story on Friday, September 12!

I have a short story about EXACTLY THIS if you know anyone who wants to publish a raunchy drag piece...
Today's Plot Bunny:

Much of the SF/F canon depends on an insurrection that can move and communicate undetected. This is becoming less and less believable to contemporary readers.

So what does an "Easy to surveil, impossible to police" society look like?
