🤣 there is no way you can run linux or doom on sim card with just 64KB ram but other than that the rest of info is seems correct as sim card does have their own OS, processor, RAM, etc, and you can definitely install and run applets on them. lol.
A Twitter thread about SIM cards. The first tweet, from user @birdabo404, says: "just found out SIM cards are self contained computers with their own 30 mHz CPU, 64 KB ram and some storage space. also runs 'applets' written in a stripped down form of java. u can technically install linux on ur sim lol." An image below the text shows a size comparison of differnet SIMs. The second tweet, from user @DasFiesel, adds: "fun fact: e-sims are simply images of real sims and run as a VM just like a real sim would - so u can technically install linux or doom on ur e-sim as well :D"
