the french have some nightly debate programs that are very well done but they value mature discourse. the us seems to value wwe-style ‘knock down drag out’ type of contests.

the irony of that cnn show is scott jennings is its star - an individual who shows little to know skill in having a meaningful and constructive conversation. i would expect no more of weiss given her performance to date.
