My Italian-born great grandfather had a low level job in a coal mine in Pennsylvania and got hit by a train. I'm glad to say that he survived, but his life was very hard.

I found it to be uneven, but the strong episodes are compelling. I particularly like Sterling K. Brown, and the series that revolve around his character.
