A week after the Czech elections, I started seeing ads on Google for learning Russian. I already had to learn Russian and I'm so sad that the Czechs have elected pro-Russian parties again, like in 1946.

On this day in 1948, communists made a coup in Czechoslovakia. Their steps under Soviet direction remind Trump/Musk revolution - taking over the media, the army, justice, purges in state administration, then murdering or imprisoning opposition and everybody who was't in favor of the change.
