ICE activity has been ramping up in Chicagoland again this month.

The city's northwest side rapid respsonse team is reporting 2 people taken this morning from Chicago's heavily Latine Humboldt Park neighborhood, and advising that agents may still be in the area.

They are working faster, in less obvious vehicles. Someone was grabbed in Edgewater at 7:30 am last week, right in the middle of a crosswalk. Maybe 3 minutes total. Many neighbors didn’t know - if you’d been in the shower or back in the kitchen making coffee, you’d have missed the whole thing.
