It’s not a huge percentage, so ‘collapsed’ is a bit exaggerated, but the drop happened and their market cap dropped about $4 billion.

So illegally destroyed three boats and killed three sets of victims when they could have arrested them and proven their accusations true. Doesn’t really imply they had a strong case.

And last year was the lowest crime in 30+ years.

How is crime being at the lowest level in the 30+ years they have been tracking crime stats an ‘emergency’? How about if DC orders their state guard and police to arrest any federal troops illegally in the district?

And of course any disagreement with Netanyahu is called ‘antisemitism’. So 75% of Israelis are antisemitic? www.theatlantic.com/internationa...

Yes, that was kinda my point - you can configure it to not update, to auto update in the middle of the night, etc.

They also sold 40 million headsets basically creating the VR mass market, built and enhance the OS, and a huge pile of apps and games, not just Horizon, and ramped up revenue and cut losses, if they do as much again in 2025 they turn profitable.

Their VR products, hardware (about 40 million Quest headsets), OS, and content - apps and games - such as Horizon. They are up to a few $billion a year in revenue, and losses are way down, but not quite profitable yet. If revenue grows as much in 2025 as it did in 2024, they’d be profitable.

You turned on automatic updates then got upset that it tried to automatically update?! Your computer wasn’t off, it was sitting idle, and installing updates in the middle of the night is normal when idle, because that means it’s likely not interrupting your using the PC.

So the agreement we had and you pulled out of? Is this all Trump does is screw things up then ‘fix’ things by putting them back the way they were, achieving nothing but parading around. Colombia. Canada. Mexico.

After EOL, only companies on paid extended service plans get security patches.
February 3, 2025 at 4:59 AM
IMO the only ‘feature’ in windows 11 is that it’ll keep getting security patches after October 2025 when windows 10 reaches EOL.
February 1, 2025 at 9:21 PM
Except that MS is ending support for Windows 10 in October 2025, meaning no more security patches, etc., which is driving the need to update.

Selling your Tesla doesn’t hurt Tesla really. If you’re buying a car, not buying a Tesla hurts Tesla.

Reportedly, Trump backed down, deportees are back to being flown on commercial flights instead of being chained up in military transports that cost 10x as much to fly.
