That sounds really interesting. I don't think that current DC writers are bold enough to retire the first generation of the JSA.

As you said, some sequences and plots felt rushed so I would love to see the stories breathe and see a better balancing of the three generations of the JSA. I think that ignoring the lost children is a mistake that will negatively influence this run.

I personally don't think that it's a major improvement over the last run. The third generation of the JSA is almost absent in the current run and I wanted to see at least a few of the golden-age sidekicks appear in the story. I just hope that the storytelling improves in the upcoming arcs.

Congratulations! I agree with the points listed in your review. I have been silent about this new run because I could see some shortcomings in the first story arc from the beginning and I did not want to comment before seeing if the writer was going to change things in the 2nd story arc.
