Went thru my saved podcasts this AM & finally played the excellent @npr.org "Jazz Profile" on #sarahvaughan hosted by #nancywilson. Vaughan's breathtaking vocals & artistry aren't celebrated nearly enough. I felt her majesty in my GUTS. My awe for her capabilities buoyed my hope for all of us.

Members of Congress: stop posting online and APPEAR, PHYSICALLY on the steps of the Capitol to decry this unconstitutional violation of domestic & international law. SHOW THE PEOPLE the level of danger we are facing as a country.

Watch "The Family McMullen" if only to see Tracee Ellis Ross steal every scene she's in w/impeccable comic timing & acting chops. She gives life & depth to her barely drawn character & even makes Ed Burns appealing instead of his per usual know-it-all smug. Major feat!

FKA twigs’ new album “Eusexua”is sooo good! Title track builds beautifully into a trance takeover - sounds are 90s underground era w/o feeling nostalgic- by the time “Drums of Death” hit I was poppin in my seat. Didn’t know how loud I’d turned it UP 'til my teen asked me to turn it DOWN. Bomb LP!
