Just finished the audiobook. I think I’ll probably read or listen to this book again at some point, because there were times when I caught myself still thinking about past chapters while not fully paying attention to what I was currently listening to. The complete perspective change is enlightening.

Exactly. Enterprise Square has been great, but they’re still not even using most of that building, let alone more commercial space that would require retrofitting. And there’s never any real talk about *how* he’d entice them downtown.

I think a lot of people just don’t like being charged for something that used to be free. I do fully agree that, if it were possible under the MGA, the 25 cents should be going to the city or some environmental cause. But it’s not. 🤷‍♂️

This is the biggest problem I have with him. He built a campaign on talking down about everybody he has worked with for the past 8 years but doesn’t seem to realize that he’s still only one vote and will have to build consensus regardless who else gets elected. I don’t think he has that ability.

I want to be clear that I’m anti-Cartmell but still very pro-Grose Misconduct, and that for anybody new to their show this episode is not representative of the multiple years of funny episodes available.

There’s no way something called pingdesk . homes is a legitimate obituary website. I’m not disputing the news, but I would maybe consider deleting this since it’s an unsecured link which almost certainly is phishing anybody who clicks it.

I'm pretty sure that in 2025, when someone passes away unexpectedly, there are a number of predatory, AI-driven, fake obituary websites that post unsanctioned info.
