✨Women I’d love to rule with✨ First on the list is Frida Kahlo, the divine and magical artist from Mexico. She was provocative and iconoclastic when she was alive and she has never disappeared. I love her paintings and more importantly her spirit. She spoke her mind and questioned norms.

Channeling all of my energy and angst into my creative projects. Basta is coming into her own and becoming her final self. I’ll be publishing this novel in the very near future, once I figure out all the technicalities.

Back in college this book changed my life, and I recommend everybody read it. It’s what got me interested in civil rights and what has kept me fighting for marginalized groups all these years. MLK Jr, along with activists from all walks of life, have kept us afloat as a society. Let’s keep serving.
