I’m not a particularly notable person, I’m kinda ditzy but I have experience in 3D animation and a handful of programming languages for whatever that’s worth.
And though it probably should go without saying, I’ll add and say having gender issues that conflict with sexual based dysphoria can coexist, you can feel terrible about wide hips, large breasts, genital dysphoria AND also still prefer wearing skirts out in public or vice versa.

Where I think a lot of the disconnect comes from is the fact that between the two groups, you have one that despises the fact that they’re trans and another that celebrates it, and despite having few real disagreements they clash because they’re using the same terminology for two different cases.

I think we should adopt the term “sexual dysphoria” because it’s just flat out more accurate, because feeling dysphoria over your birth sex IS a disorder, “transmed” isn’t about acting smug over the progress you made so much as it’s focused on treating said disorder through transition.

The issue isn’t with transmed ideology so much as the terms we use. “Gender dysphoria” is a genuinely terrible term because it implies sex and gender are one and the same. Dysphoria IS medical in nature and DOES need to be treated in many cases differently from someone who wants to use diff pronouns

Of course, just spreading the word like this is a big help towards that perfect future.

It's just how things were tbh, people get hurt because their immediate assumption is you not caring. It's become less of a problem since people have generally become more understanding of people who might be neurodivergent or just flat out don't hear very well.

Of course, I feel like I have generally speaking. I don't have any ill will against anyone over it to be honest, it's a societal problem and thankfully that means we can all play our part in turning that around.

In fairness, whenever I did this as a kid I was told to shut up and pay attention instead of a slight correction. You’re totally not wrong, but old habits die hard

This would be terrible, bad enough to have garbage slop getting pushed out every year, and now we want some rich dipshit who has never even written hello world in his life pulling the slots and have an AI come up with slop?

That wallpaper gave me PTSD

To play devil’s advocate, if you actively try to make art that’s relatable to everyone you might make something that most people enjoy, but you’ll never make someone’s *favorite* this way. That is why media in recent years has felt so sterile as companies try to make as much profit as possible.

I saw this handheld and wanted it so bad… I have a steam deck and a n3ds so I really can’t justify something like this, but holy hell did I love my GBA SP

Genuinely think the tune is gonna change the moment frat boys see laws like that pass and realize this effects them, too.

Sure does, I feel similarly about the fact that every phone has a glued shut battery you can't replace on your own without experience and a decent set of tools.

Huh, what distro is that? Last time I used Linux last year I was on endeavourOS so I wouldn't be surprised if it just wasn't the most user friendly

Think of it this way: I bet you miss Windows 7, which came out in 2009 relative to Windows Vista's release in 2007. A lot has changed since then ;D

bsky.app/profile/lamb... This is kinda what I mean when I say this: A lot of people are used to downloading applications online and don't like the idea that they're limited to a handful of stores their distro came with, but still aren't comfortable with the terminal necessary to achieve this.
Linux has become very intuitive, but it's lacking in a lot of ways. I think the fact of the matter is there's a limit to what you can do if you're afraid of the terminal, a lot of people who kinda sit in the middle as far as tech literacy is concerned can often be left behind

I second Kate, that's kind of like judging Windows today based on your bad experience with Vista in 2008

Stuff they can do on Windows with ease becomes a pain in their ass on Linux, and then you certain programs without any decent alternative like photoshop or really any video editing software... As for me, I happen to like my XP theme and despise most Linux themes I've seen, so I'm sticking with this
