Hard disagree. It's definitely got a vibe people either love or hate, but imo the mechanics are quick +enjoyable / the linear storytelling is what they wanted and they did it well. It's not supposed to be a story about just anyone, it's a story about V and their impact. It's phenomenally presented.

Omg NieR 🫶🏻 only thing I disagree w on this list is Palia. Too jittery from what I've played ++ the pay to win outfits are a meh addition even for a free game.

I would also personally describe Atelier in general as junk food, but in the sweetest sort of way. It's very slice of life, with emphasis on storytelling, friendships and alchemy. From what I've played there are installments w/ rather dark stories and themes, and it's much deeper than meets the eye.
