🔥 Tens of thousands march to the center of Tbilisi, paralyzing the city with traffic jams. Protests in Georgia continue over election fraud and the government's refusal to pursue EU membership talks until 2028.

Now that the fall of Assad in the civil war in Syria has happened I feel like we've just seen another domino fall against Russia.

The Russian alliances seems to be fraying a bit, let's go over some of Russia's allies from before the war and talk about the things that have or might change soon. 🧵

The rebels are entering Homs in the north.
They have taken over the desert in the east.
The rebels from the south are entering the capital Damascus.

This is the end of a chapter.
But not the end of the story.
Difficult times are bound to follow and much more suffering is to come.
keep that in mind.

Update on Syria: it's getting worse for Assad.

- local uprisings in the south have consolidated, are gaining strength and have taken the provincial capital of Daraa.
- control over the east has collapsed.
- troops are deserting.

There will be a lot less red on this map in the coming days...

My prediction for January 12th 2025 (this will not be correct at all)

Update on Syria: The front on the brink of collapse.

- local uprisings in the south
- SDP forces slowly taking over the west Euphrates area
- rebels only a few kilometers away from Homs
- IS terror forces occupying more desert

I'm almost certain this is the end of the Syrian civil war and Assad...

I think it's fair to say that we are likely witnessing the end of Assad in Syria and quite possibly the end of the Syrian civil war as a whole

Breaking News!

Syrian rebels have gained control over Hama and Salamiyah, the 5th and 18th most populous areas of the country and both very important strategic positions

Homs is the final city left for the rebels to capture in order to cut off Syria's coast from the mainland.

Martial law has been announced in South Korea!

This is a very sudden measure and if you're wondering why it's happening... The public doesn't know but their intelligence has probably discovered something rather severe, keep an eye on this.

Syrian rebels have now approached the city limits of the province capital of Hama again, a battle will most likely begin here in the coming hours/day

The area round Velyka Novosilka in Ukraine is looking incredibly fragile and dangerous for Ukraine.

The 2 northern roads from the city have been cut by Russia and the remaining road to the west is close to being cut as well, effectively almost encircling the city.

THIS IS SERIOUS.

💥 Update on the situation around Hama in Syria 💥

Rebel forces are slowly approaching Hama again after having been pushed out a few days ago.

Assad's troops are reinforcing the area.

A large area to the east where rebel are fighting, currently a grey area.

Rebels are now <10km away from Hama.

💥Quick update on daily activities in Syria💥

- Rebels are still capturing villages around Hama and further in the countryside but at a reduced speed.
- Assad's forces are putting up more resistance yet still losing ground.
- The area around Aleppo is almost completely consolidated by the rebels.

Something I've seen very few people talk about since the beginning of the 2022 war in Ukraine is how Russia occupying Crimea and the Donbas before the war changed how it could conclude.

The possibility of pulling out is nonexistent since Russia would have to cede land it already controlled.

This is how the current situation in Syria seems to be playing out:
- Aleppo is being consolidated by the rebels
- Assad's army is preparing for a counterattack (possibly soon). How successful this will be remains to be seen.
- Kurdish allied groups in Aleppo are getting pushed out by the rebels.

It's getting serious in Georgia, The country has been in an uphill battle against Russia and their allies for many years now but with the recent fraudulent election and the announcement that they will abandon EU ambitions. The future of Georgia seems to be on a knifes edge.
In Tblisi, Georgia, the situation is getting more grim by the minute. Protestors are now using molotov cocktails to attack security forces.

I've been invested in wars and politics for a good few years now and the experience of seeing the sudden massive gains that the rebels have in Syria is absolutely astonishing.
