Such a nice treasury market you've got there... Sorry to see something happen to it

Well, the exodus has started. Sure, we'll look at patents later...

That’s why Jeff’s in a hurry to visit Greenland… in March… 😂😂😂
January 16, 2026 at 2:30 PM
Well, Quinnipiac Poll just out says 86% of Americans oppose any action against Greenland. With clear message from Denmark and solid backing from key Nordic, EU and Canada Nato members, my bet would be Trump's gonna start hedging his bet and back off...
January 15, 2026 at 2:41 PM
Here's the thing. It's not difficult to obtain a license to prospect on Greenland. Nor would it be to get a mining license. It is, however, still insanely expensive to run the operation in such an inhospitable equipment-breaking climate... So many have tried and failed.

This is the quote: "When asked which was his higher priority, obtaining Greenland or preserving NATO, Trump declined to answer directly, but acknowledged that “it may be a choice.”. That makes a big difference. Make that the choice. Nordics, Canada and France should move troops to Greenland now.

Spot on. But it's more than that. Same company operates 40% of US Military Sealift Command. Imagine if we shut that one down... Or the company supplying parts and radar software for the F35 program.
January 6, 2026 at 8:27 AM
My suggestion would be deployment of arctic specialists from Denmark (we have special forces with arctic capabilities not presently deployed in Greenland), Finland, Sweden, Norway and Canada, along with a contingent of French soldiers for back-up. It's a news headline game, and the gloves are off.
January 6, 2026 at 8:16 AM
The US has no limits militarily on Greenland. Status: 150 soldiers at the old Thule airbase. The US has VERY limited Arctic capabilities. So just like Venezuela, it's all about 1) a transaction - i.e. unhindered access to resources 2) Power Ego, and 3) intimidation (i.e. of the EU, UK and Nato).
January 5, 2026 at 8:22 AM
Dane here... So the best action we can take, is really to insist we see him VERY often in Greenland or in Copenhagen? So many meetings, consultations, whatever... For a true volunteer on an innocent side-hustle, that would be very hard to accommodate...
December 22, 2025 at 10:11 AM
It's a question of trust. And the US has started to fail miserably on that count...

Add household batteries and V2G, and you could operate a whole household for free...

His comments are correct. The label on the chart should read billion instead of million.

"might turn"... Here in Denmark they are applying in drones. The US is hemorrhaging brains at an unprecedented speed...

Actually relates to city of Copenhagen. US Embassy applies for renewal of special parking licenses (space in front of embassy), but attaches demand the city halt all DEI activites, or they won't pay for licenses. City sent short reply: "The Embassy is more than welcome to withdraw the application".
