Thos show was a delight and ended at a perfect spot for the season. Honestly I wouldnt mind never getting more because this was a perfect ending for this story.
(Perhaps its also because I dont want to see it get butchered by overstaying its welcome like what happened to the mandalorian)

I was expecting to put zootopia 2 in c tier when I rank all the movies I saw in the theater this year but not only am I putting it in A tier, it currently ranks 3rd place (and will stay that way if I dont see anything else this year)

I dont think this one handles nick and Judy's relationship as well as the original (that first one just had much more thematic nuance) but it still progressed in a natural way. The first one was also funnier but this one made me laugh a bunch too. 2 handles the racial politics and villain better tho

This movie organically expanded the setting in exciting ways without getting bogged down by the new lore. Unlike frozen 2, it actually put story and character first and made me want to see a 3rd film.

I mean, incredibles 2 turned out atrocious despite a 14 year gap but I get what you mean. They seemed to have understood the criticisms of 1 and tried their best to fix it.

Somehow you were right. I genuinely enjoyed it, and might even agree that it was better than zootopia 1.
I wouldn't give it a 5/5, but it was a solid 4 just like the first one

I love his work. He also did the cover for the edition of the omnibus that I own if im not mistaken (the handbook cover)

I have yet to see a great theatrical walt disney animation studios sequel (and i still havent gotten over feeling scammed by moana 2) but im open to being surprised.

PREACH. I have been sick to death of them since 2018, at least as far as movie rankings go. I especially hate the trend of ranking all the movies and TV shows together that one is just absurd

I mean, I just found bad guys 2 absolutely hilarious (the running gag with snake omg).
Id still rank looney toons higher because the zany premise was more memorable, on top of the jokes.

I liked it, but I really wanted to love it.
Compared to other movies I've seen this year I liked it more than superman or fant4stic 2025 but it didnt reach the heights of kpop demon hunters (i loved it im not sorry), loony toons, bad guys 2, or sinners.
