They're being hyperbolic, the Logan Act says you can't negotiate with foreign governments unless you have approval by the U.S. government. The punishment is a fine and/or imprisonment, not execution.

The military shouldn't follow illegal orders, Trump isn't mentally fit for office, and has broken the law. What Republicans want is a generation to grow up thinking this is all normal.

Trump said he would add tariffs before the 2024 election. Republicans just go along with whatever he says because they know his cult members will vote them out if they don't. Farmers knew this would happen, and then aggressively voted for it.
