this part makes sense. what i still don’t get is that “all buyers” age is much closer to “repeat buyers”, indicating repeat buyers are a larger share of home buyers now. this suggests they are less impacted by the current conditions. what explains that? do they need less credit?

exactly. if something is the 100th most important issue to voters but they overwhelmingly support it, you’re not going to convince anyone to vote for you with it. this popularism is missing the intensity of ideas (aka “this will determine who i vote for”)

schools or property taxes may be a problem in illinois. in california, people might be concerned about housing costs. but in louisiana, football is the problem of the day.
