Still trying to figure out if they have a specific problem with Bad Bunny that goes beyond "He performs in Spanish and he's Puerto Rican, so yeah, sure, he's technically American, whatever, but you know, not *really* American. You know what I mean."

SCOTUS majority: Sure, states can restrict or ban health care practices they deem harmful.

Colorado & 19 other states: OK, we're banning gay conversion therapy because it harms kids and doesn't work.

SCOTUS majority: No not like that, we only meant abortion and gender-affirming care.

Hard as it might be to believe, there was a time when Schumer was a really good, tough, effective political fighter. He won his Senate seat by beating a 3-term GOP incumbent, Al D'Amato, and flipping a seat that had been in GOP hands for 42 years. Good to see him find some of that old fight again.

Seems like the Jay Jones story is already starting to fade. In the Richmond area, it's been knocked off the front pages by the recovery of a local hardware store's lost cat.

(To be fair, it's a really sweet feel-good story.)

EDVA is perhaps the most challenging docket in the country and its judges do not suffer fools. Being from out of state and unaccustomed to the district's rules of practice gets you no slack whatsoever from them. Asking lawyers who've never handled a case in this district to take over...
