Excellent article. Love it.
wrote about how i manage npm dependencies, and used it as an excuse to make some watercolors https://blog.val.town/gardening-dependencies

Wrong. Teach your users to not click on links from email.
Email is potentially the weakest chain in trust if misconfigured.
Hahaha yeah OF COURSE everyone dislikes them, but doesn't it seem more rational than passwords, really? Like, philosophically? It makes more sense to authenticate via a secure communication channel (my email account, in principle) rather than a random alphanumeric string, no?

Most valuable effort in frameworks?
Definitely it's SvelteKit. Growing the roots!

This is only basin you can swim in.
Don't throw your security needs in frameworks. It's your needs.
5. and then of course there's validation, which guarantees your types are correct.

all of this is necessary-but-not-sufficient; we can't fix PEBKAC. but we can generally make it more secure than <whatever you were going to do instead>.

having said that: if you spot a vulnerability, please tell us!

If you are fan of progress, join this two guys together:

Rich @rich-harris.dev Harris with precise standard following frontend bests to create universal app framework.

Ryan @tinyclouds.org Dahl with precisely crafting frontend APIs info backend world with sense.

Hilarious! Great work!
Next turn well be:
Can we optionally turn some queries and commands to be also available as REST endpoints?

Disclaimer. I'm fully in great transport of SvelteKit, but I'm not alone, others will need API. Opinionated shortcut?
we just released SvelteKit remote functions. feel like 'minor change' undersells it a little tbh

✅ await in components svelte.dev/docs/svelte/...
✅ remote functions svelte.dev/docs/kit/rem...
🔜 async SSR

truly can't wait to ship the rest of this stuff

Aby bylo jasno.
Do posledního bitu.
Bit chtěl bych mít do posledního bítu.

Tak aby bylo jasno do posledního bitu, já chtěl bych mít jasno v posledním bytu.
