And while The Long Dark forced us to constantly stuff ourselves with food so we wouldn't starve (to such an extent that it was laughable), food and warmth become mechanics that...

The atmosphere is wonderfully mysterious, and the environments, although gigantic, never leave us feeling lost.
Everything in this game is well done. Whereas Firewatch blocked us at every obstacle, our character here can step over them and even climb walls (if they have handholds)...
