I've set myself a mini project of taking my marker type drawings and going full on into stained glass styled #mtg cards.
Hopefully the vampiric forms of Lap and @heartlilly.bsky.social work well as cards. Enjoying this style and finding it comfortable.

While I used to do printing for myself, I now have access to industrial size machines and we've toyed with the idea of making fur and pride gear.

I've slowly been working on reference sheets again. Yesterday my Neuro appointment has explained a lot about why I struggle to illustrate. Still, every time I finish something, I feel like Ive hit a milestone. This was 2023, but still very proud of this one though it took ages @ellis171.bsky.social

The first two i did, I was able to make my own brush set to get a marker sort of effect but stability for inking.

Found an artist style that is super chill to do. Still practicing but this is only one shade of yellow and one shade of purple with different levels of opacity and layering.

In short, i had underlying genetic conditions that went into overdrive after cfz 2022, that bad covid year. I had, as an infant, an illness that went dormant and turned on after covid. That coupled with genetics, I have a broken nervous system resulting in long covid.
A good day and bad day.

While i love furry art and missed illustrating, my heart has been in the disability community for the last year learning as much as I can, and still learning.

I have chronic conditions and my hips subluxate. By using mine I know I'll be able to function the day after without needing to sleep for a day or two after a long day out and won't topple over if my vision and balance goes.
