For the survivors of torture who suffered needlessly with the threat of Rwanda hanging over their heads for years, the cost of this cruel scheme on their mental health and recovery can't be measured in pounds.

That is the true, utterly shameful legacy of this inhumane plan.
The Labour government has shamed the Conservatives for spending more than £700m of taxpayer money on a failed plan to deport asylum seekers to Rwanda. 🛫

Figures published by the Home Office on Monday found that £50m wasted on flights that never took off. Read more. ⬇️
