Yeah, it's no accident that most of the players demonised for playing "dirty" are masc presenting and often darker skinned too. The misogynoir of it all. Argh!

It was heinous. The MNBA totally had the option of investing in the ABL. But apparently it was more fun to destroy it and start a new league so it could keep women's hoops under its heel forever. Bless.

These tactics aren't just used against women. In publishing's twisted logic a book flopping is the author's fault not the publisher's.

It's always we authors should be grateful a publisher took us on at all; not #publishing wouldn't make money or EXIST without authors.

Labour negotiations in a women's sports league is relevant to all because misogyny is everywhere.

The female commissioner of the #wnba told a player that they should GET DOWN ON THEIR KNEES in gratitude for being paid.

Our employers aren't doing us a favour by paying us. We make them money!

In conclusion, Ezra Klein is wrong about ab**tion and pretty much everything else. Access to reproductive health care is an election winning strategy. The majority of US citizens support that access.

He prolly thinks women wake up with perfect TV hair too.

I mean I wouldn't call it an opportunity though. I miss my stylish short hair. But I don't miss all that time and money lost to getting my hair done. And I love the stylist I used to go to!

It really is. The few photo shoots I've done were an agony of sitting still while they did endless shit to my hair. Did look shiny after, but.

I don't know anyone who does that on the daily.

Exactly. I just wrote a reply pointing out that most of the world's population is not spending money to have their long locks be shiny and lush.

I doubt it's even the majority of us long-haired inhabitants of the USA.
