Try Pillars of Eternity! I think it does most of what Planescape is doing significantly better. Also while not in the same aesthetic genre, I think Shadowrun Dragonfall and Hong Kong are really good.

Thinking about how Baldur's Gate 3 did not inspire a new wave of players to check out older/other CRPGs and... yeah.
