I came up with a Far Side-inspired comic when I was, like, 13 years old, and now I finally feel that I have the artistic ability to render it the way young me would have wanted to be able to.

A single-panel comic in the style of the Far Side comics by Gary Larson. In the foreground, a man in warm clothing is beginning to walk up steps to a house, but has stopped and is looking over his shoulder to listen to his friend standing a little behind him on the lawn.

His friend, wearing glasses and dressed in a long coat, is stooped over slightly, not looking directly at the man on the stairs. He is holding up one hand towards the man on the stairs with a finger extended, signalling to him to wait. He is holding up his other hand to his ear to listen to the figure next to him.

The final figure is a bizarre, monstrous, alien creature. It has a gelatinous body, dozens of eyes, several mouths, bull horns, tentacles and some patches of fur. It is holding up one of its tentacles to its largest mouth, whispering conspiratorially into the ear of the man on the lawn, eyes looking off-frame cautiously.

The caption, being said by the man listening to the creature, reads: "Now, hold up there, Ted; Something's telling me we shouldn't go in there..."

The UK, among other states, has been complicit in and party to these war crimes, supporting the wanted suspects and directly supplying them with arms to perpetrate these atrocities. That such crimes were being committed has been abundantly clear for over a year. www.bbc.co.uk/news/article...
