Spent the day making the web app landing page look pretty. Now it has animated elements and shows off some of my #airsoft #photography
Tomorrow I'm on site getting some GPS readings again. I'll also be tuning my Staccato 2011 hi-capa.

Putting together the beta event info pack. Important point:
"The LARP Architect app *IS NOT* the milsim, merely a tool to facilitate it. Unless you are a zealous, micro-managing team commander in charge of many squads, it should not be taking you away from the fun of participation."

An instanced mission is one that can be assigned to multiple players, independently, to be completed in an uncontested manner.
For example, a player can pick up a solo mission to find some McGuffin. They'll earn points for themselves, squad & team if they complete it in time.

It was very hot on site today; luckily the leafy trees provided some shade. WiFi AP installed and there's full coverage apart from a small, overgrown corner that nobody uses.
We're looking at end of June / beginning of July for the beta event.

Tonight I'm busy load testing the #airsof #LARP app. The server is handling 35k requests per minute without breaking a sweat. That would support an event with 3000 attendees!
Although I'm not aware of any site with the WiFi network infrastructure that could cope. Players would need 4G+ coverage.

The fun challenge of #airsoftphotography is making people look more badass and less dorky.
I aim to make it look cool; regardless of gear or skill. We need to make #airsoft appealing and inclusive to as many people as possible if we want the sport to thrive and the fun survive.
