Latest finished piece: #chainmail #bikini top with dags & dangling chains. 2 toned effect draws the eye- and what it's worn over keeps the eye locked in place! When you Vend at a Faire, it's not "just 2 days" to you. It's
-the time you spend prepping inventory, packing your tubs, and loading your booth equipment
-the time you spend rushed crafting, to have extra inventory
-the hours of booth setup before Faire, and booth takedown after (every day), etc...

Take 2 different shades of grey #scalemail, not enough to finish a #bikinitop out of either, and realize the extra scales aren't gonna arrive before the show. Combine them to make a single top, with the end effect being better than either alone. Win! #crafter #fantasyarmor #wip #redsonja

Today's #wip is more about how it's made, not what's being made. With #chainmail & #scalemail, it's slow going if you make a bit, pick up the main piece, add it, put the main piece down, and make another. I attach my main piece to a frame, and skip the pick up/ put down stages! #craftertips

Take a Demi-Gauntlet (half-hand armour), and reimagine it in #chainmail instead of plate. Make it 2 toned for a visual aesthetic, add a wrist clasp - Bam! #Armorcore/ #knightcore fashion accessory. ❤️ #larparmor #cosplayarmor

Current #wip- a warrior skirt in #chainmail. Something like this takes a lot of time, but I'm breaking it up with quick projects in between. Newest piece, finished in time for theRenfaire- Dragon Mage #Tiara! A combo of #chainmail & #scalemail, with different styles & weaves used and a chain web to keep it on the head. A #dragon pendant gives accent to the front and scale "tails" hang down the sides. #handmade #crafter #dragoncore
