In my community, there really isn’t anywhere affordable to downsize to, even with good equity. A mortgage would be necessary - and the rates are double my current interest rate. Many people are just stuck.

So she is 21 years old and she is supposed to go to jail and possibly have her life ruined ? Her governor signed off on the orders to deploy. The national guard are not the same as ICE. So yes you are blaming her. Maybe focus on the fuckers in charge. Or maybe you just hate the military.

She was a low ranking member of the national guard who was deployed with her guard unit. She would have risked jail time. Its not the same as an illegal order, like firing on unarmed civilians clinging to boat wreckage. Stop blaming this poor woman. She didn’t deserve this.
