Chicken egg problem… if ratings are double of today, you would have competition in engines, tires and chassis and enough AAA sponsors. Indycar needs that one lucky shot at double ratings.. like a well know racing driver joins, but better would be an external event.

That’s correct… ICR II was good playable with keyboard, while CART Prec Racing wasn’t. At least a joystick was needed.

I started with Keys until ICR II, but then I bought a MS Sidewinder Precision, that worked really good for several years. Never had money for a wheel, back then.
