Are the red lights meant give off seasonal cheer? In my mind they give the tower a foreboding and darkly sinister tone, like a little brother to Barad-dûr, the tower of Sauron.

This is of course cool and awesome, and I'll miss it when it's gone.

While I was feeling too timid to walk up to talk to people and ask for a photograph, Mario walked straight up to me, a complete stranger, and asked about my camera.

The whole event was amazing, every contestant gave it 100% and the crowd absolutely loved it. I shot everything with a Canon EOS R6 and a 50mm lens.

I got loads of great shots that I'm going to share more of in the coming days.
