It’s very simple. Trump in office = bad for republicans. Trump out of office = good for Republicans. Trump on the ballot = good for republicans. Trump not on the ballot = bad for republicans. The next two elections will be Trump in office and not on the ballot. Will be bloodbaths for republicans.
February 6, 2026 at 12:24 AM
That may be the grossest thing I’ve ever heard.

There’s not enough room in hell for these people.
February 5, 2026 at 11:00 PM
Thank you, Governor Pritzker.
February 5, 2026 at 10:25 PM
Oh no, please don’t throw me into that briar patch.
February 5, 2026 at 9:50 PM
Yeah, imagine training your whole life, reaching the Olympics, winning the gold, then as an even greater reward, you get to tell JD Vance what a huge piece of shit he is directly to his face.

I think if anything this is just more proof that god doesn’t exist.

First thing I thought of.

I don’t know what it’s like now, and I’m sure the current tuitions are way higher, but when i applied to law schools 25 years ago, the Flagship SEC state schools had cheaper OOS tuition than UC schools (or even Illinois, where I ended up) in state tuitions. Feels like they’ve always been cheap.

I’m thinking discovery is not going to go well for this douche.

Fighting Congress for aid to Israel is like fighting my kitchen faucet for tap water.

People are didn't quite meet the qualifications for prison guard.
February 1, 2026 at 11:21 PM
Except they aren't above the law anymore. And they no longer have the protection of "you can't assault a federal office, even if they are currently assaulting you." It's still not great, but a lot of those guys are in for some rude awakenings.
February 1, 2026 at 10:40 PM
Well, again, Trump is there until Jan, 2029, so adding members to the court just means he can appoint people (who Dems can reject), so not sure it matters.
February 1, 2026 at 10:21 PM
Not sure what you’re trying to say here. If we get rid of the filibuster, thy still won’t be able to override a veto of legislation expanding the court without 2/3 majorities. And even if they did expand the court, the nominees are coming from Trump until he out of office.
February 1, 2026 at 7:39 PM
January 2026 would be a bad time to try to expand the Supreme Court. Maybe wait two more years.
February 1, 2026 at 4:08 PM
Trump in office and not on the ballot = very bad for Republicans.

Might that gerrymander start looking more like a dummymander?

Most of the upscale folks ARE immigrants, or from immigrant families. Not quite at Arcadia or Temple City (my hometown) levels, but close.
January 30, 2026 at 11:40 PM
Honestly, folks, if you have leather panels on your signs, you're probably overdoing it. You can dial it back a bit.
January 30, 2026 at 5:53 PM
Implausible allegations didn't seem to be a problem for them when they relied on the VAERS database during Covid, and that was almost entirely all bullshit.
January 30, 2026 at 5:40 PM
Yeah, I think their approach works when used sparingly and strategically. But they've destroyed their credibility with judges, and when each case is a high profile failure, it makes it much harder to successfully execute that strategy the next time.

You are the Left. You had to do what the Left had to do.
