Off the shelf printers might have higher power toolhead heaters these days. I'm not super impressed with the cost to performance ratio of more expensive machines vs just doing it oneself though.

Bienvenue à la nouvelle réalité du logiciel 'triple A'. 🥲

If you're willing to swap out the heater, bed, and PSU, you can get steeper heating curves by just dumping more watts into them. 50 watt heating cartridges get those little aluminum heat blocks hot pretty quickly. Beds need to saturate and expand though, so heating fast isn't necessarily better.

I like the website! Small typo, "independant" instead of "independent". Not a nitpick, just figured it's better to let you know than sit on it.

The capitalist doesn't pay for the artist's skillset if they can, or *believe* they can replace the parts of the skillset they pay for with something that can mimic them for next to free. It's a sore spot, because it extracts a miniscule slice of something only people can do, discarding the people.

It's basically a perfect characterization of why people hate the AI surge. All the same blundering bull mindsets of the crypto sham bullshit just shifted focus. It's still the same blind arrogance being lead by the same grifters. It's not the bits and bytes people are pissed at.

Watching and standing back as school aged kids cede their reasoning skills to hallucinating chatbots is a generational scale mistake.

On that note, have you looked at games like Sable? The style is a bit on the heavy side but I could see using a shader setup like that if you were interested in elaborating on Metal Garden in a more stylized format!

Problem is I'm not sure if the heater is meant to be able to put out enough heat continuously while something removes that heat. I'm not sure if it could keep up or if it could maintain that output indefinitely.

There's only one way to find out...

My thinky brainfolds tell me the heater in a build plate isn't meant to be able to put that much energy into it that quickly... However, my COOL brainfolds tell me this requires experimentation,....

In their defense I'm not sure it'd make a very good demonstration model if it were the factory shipped bukakke version.

just pick up an engine with no expectations of yourself and watch some tutorials, you'll quickly start to have "I could do this", "with this I can probably do that", "can I do this?", "how can I do that?" ideas. Pursue those and you'll start learning quickly! Doing is doing!

So is your position here that art cannot depict or imply any of these things in any context whatsoever?

Run then, agitator.

Based on that I'm seeing you're making the assumption I'm from the United States.
