I really hate that women risk their lives while carrying & delivering their baby, just for the child to arrive & they slap the father’s last name on them. Not a single hyphen in sight! 🤯🥴 I couldn’t live another day with that man’s name. It had to go. And now, I feel free. I feel like my true self.

Two weeks ago, I went to the Supreme Court and filled out an application to legally change my last name. Today, I found out that it’s been approved. 🎉 I couldn’t be happier to walk through life, honoring my mother every time I say my name. 🥹❤️
