Playing modern atlus, soul hackers 2. Safest of the all jrpg gameplay loop you can expect from Atlus, but those demons are so sweet, i want to sell my soul to most of them. Certainly deserve better reviews. IMO they should expand the 18+ theme range to differentiate it more from other franchise.

Dev that encourages experimentation and gives you relatively free hand in character building and how to approach combat = mechanically hostile game. Don't embarrass yourself. All you need to do is able to read skill descriptions and having fun.

True, but it's still the best tool for finding games. I have 18000 games ignored and 1600 wishlisted. The only bigger media outlet that cover some of them is RPS.

I regret that Obsidian abandoned the formula known from Deadfire, and their criticism could be grounded on those remarks for example, but what i can expect from people hunting for masculine features of new Ciri.

I don't play their games for completely different reasons. Imo, they are probably good for transferring systems but besides that, they don't deliver in terms of writing, battle designs and quality control.

I wouldn't call them AAA. Their first two titles that allowed them to continue operating were Kickstarter projects. Rogue Trader is a licensed game that certainly boosted their wallets in tax haven but still, let's not exaggerate :)

Ok, all in all, much worse. You do it because you have a hobby. It's like a caravan of 18th century travellers from France who are looking for a cerebral hypoxic experience

It reminds me a bit of mountaineering. You hire carriers and guides carrying a tonne of your scrap, often physically and mentally stronger than you. If you need to, you'll even climb to the top with some of them, but omit their names from the list of expedition participants.
