There is more support for it now than ever. Everyone, particularly including Senate Democrats, should be saying that the end goal is to abolish ice. A failed attempt with the proper public support is still beneficial, as is stating future goals. Harping on "attainable" only gives cover to cowards.

You have to state your goals aloud for them to be worked towards. I'm tired of people taking a look at the abolish ice groundswell and answering with but..but...but... What purpose does it serve to look down your nose and argue against the good? It's like arguing for 3/5ths to 4/5ths compromise.

It still could. You don't need 100% of people to make things happen. Did everyone march on Washington during the civil rights movement? Piracy is also a good option. I hate when people turn their disdain at our fellow people when we should be creating solidarity and helping people choose right.

Journalistic malpractice, she was on TV lying about what happened hours after the killing. Don't give her more chances to amend her position, challenge her on her knee-jerk lies.

There's little point to highlighting their hypocrisy, unfortunately. They know exactly what they're doing, and none of their supporters will be swayed by rhetorical contradictions at this point. We just have to keep pointing out the cruelty and the failure to keep his non-ice based campaign promises

What's important is that he was censored at government direction, not his show. It's chill that it's back, but let's not pretend that he's anything more than milquetoast or that he's some kind of paragon of resistance. I hate to see people online talking like Kimmel is the be-all-end-all point.

Neither here nor there but I do think it's funny that Fleetwood Mac had members from both sides of the Atlantic onboard for their hit single of that name. Imagine Monty Python making it big with a film that was just called -insert US-based slur here-

He's gearing up for a presidential run. If we don't like him, are we supposed to shut up now, and wait til the primary? At primary time we're told to shut up so as not weaken potential candidates. do we get to choose or does the party just anoint another slimy shitheel? Same hairdo as Clinton too.

There are studies that show a differential in non-physical sports BUT it's likely that it's socially-based, in other words, sexism. As in, men get gassed up their whole lives and women the opposite. a new woman might not have the lifetime of mental d.o.t. status effects. So like, gender abolitionpls

I think because it's attempts, not completion-based, the ay/a differential between two QBs on the same team can hint at how much they're willing to plan their offense around the qb vs having the QB execute a plan. A smaller ∆ = looking for their pilot and a larger ∆ = planning starts at the QB.
