anyway identity scraping has been the goal of every change ever and if you think verifying your identity is the straw that breaks the camel but you've also linked your steam, any social media, spotify, bought nitro and therefore linked your card etc then i think its a bit late for opsec but i get it

i think people can get too bogged down in capitalism meaning the companies will make bad choices for users in order to earn money and forget that sometimes the changes that are just bad and are antithetical to monetisation (this will reduce users!) are because of encroaching fascism instead
