This was completely predictable and is good news - many of us pointed out last year the potential of the M2000 and it's availability in several countries. It's numbers may ultimately rival the F-16 in Ukraine.

Fifty years ago Embraer exported it's first aircraft to Uruguay as part of a deal that involved 5 aircraft for the Fuerza Aérea Uruguaya. Later this year that relationship will be renewed with the delivery of the first Super Tucano.

He died in 1974 but when I was a child he used to tell me some stories he said he was part of a machine gun crew. Like many veterans he probably saved the worst stories from me, that campaign was very ugly

The documents state that he was recruited in November 1921 so would have been part of the forces sent in subsequent operations after the big defeat at Annual in July 1921. He was released from service in December 1924 which was early as I understand it due to health reasons.

I'm going to definitely do that I have some documentation saved by my mother, the unit was apparently the Regimiento de Infantería Número 57 according to the documents which is a unit that must have been disbanded

Interesante - siempre me interesaron las campañas Españolas en África, mí abuela era un soldado conscripto en 1921, fue a Marruecos com parte de la fuerza que se mando después del levantamiento en el Rif
