And the hat was from Enchanted Garden, Louise Harding. Then I added bear ears 🐻.

Booties were from Winter Knits Made Easy from DK. But I accidentally added way to much hight in the toes (read "Rows 7-17" as "for 17 rows" lol). And added the picot cast off to match the hat.

Well I started with a second hand trousers pattern (Style 4968) and adapted it. Got some inspiration from mood fabrics www.moodfabrics.com/blog/the-nov... and other ideas from Pinterest.

Ah well, hopefully my niece will like it anyway.

I then used elestic to marry the top with the skirt, but it got messy before it got half way decent and in the end is pretty warped.

Mainly, it was gathering the skirt that tripped me up. I went off script as I usually do, used strechy fabric instead of a cotton and removed the zip. Was aiming for comfort.

Bias binding made out of some scraps of an old blanket used as the facing.
