So um I guess this is the face of DOGE,Sure he is up there and makes a great living but he is also a highly educated DVM PhD MPH who traded private practice bucks, industry research bucks, or drug company bucks to work for the US government in animal welfare as an epidemiologist.

He could teach but he isn't sure he wants to work that hard. But I could see him teaching in the prisons. He was fiercely against CO getting rid of some of their prison programs. He understood the philosophy but saw 1st hand the effects of learning skills and employment.

And 2 seconds later I figured out he was treating someone's dog. Tonight, at almost bedtime he gets a call from same neighbor and this time it's the Patriarch...they need help with a cow and a calf; both are in trouble. He springs into action;I offer my services as 1st ssistant fetching the things

If they only knew just how far.....So anyhow, the patriarch's son called last night about his dog who had stomach surgery. "No don't do that" I hear booming from His office, "Would you put THAT on your testicles? Never put any creams on your dog's skin you wouldn't put on your balls"

The second call this week. This neighbor, Roy, lives 5 miles from us on a compound of sorts with 4 generations and they all love Jesus and the land and their animals. They keep to themselves, I've seen them 3 times in 11 years but we exchange Christmas cards and they pray for our heathen asses
