The head of our country’s government is in the early stages of consolidating total power. We must of course reject this, but that is not enough. We have to respond by creating a different and better kind of American politics than we have seen before.

Hands Off Rally in Evansville, Indiana yesterday (a week later than planned). Last Saturday was thunderstorms and lightening. Very, very frightening. And monsoons. Today was a lovely day with lots of angry people.

I said this the last time he was in office, but once he’s gone (if ever) they need to just burn the White House to the ground and rebuild somewhere else. There isn’t enough sage to purify that space.
